Multicystic Kidney Hope

had just read the crossover JLA / Avengers, Kurt Busiek called me and sounded familiar, well Astrocity, when I found this comic he had published in 2003 by the independent publishing Cliffhanger, and the English Carlos Pacheco drawing, I decided to buy it.

Too risky for the cautious and wary to be a regular reader of comics, trust the author not always guarantee that it's a good story, but sometimes, as in life risk is fun, and play this gamble really made me feel a winner.

This six-part limited series presents the adventures and misadventures of Arrowsimth Fletcher, an American recruited to fight with the Allies in the First World War.

So far nothing unusual, but is that this story takes place in an alternate world that seems to be drawn from the novels of JRR Tolkien: dragons, humans, trolls, orks, but added ogres, fairies, werewolves, vampires, etc., all using any sort of magical weapons, incantations, spells and military strategy to end with each other.

beating Wear boots that can fly a magic metal, and that any soldier had to be trained in combat and healing spells is also not new premises of this type are used in games, but unlike them the plot of a comic is more complex.

Highly recommended for those comic lovers of war and adventure dungeons and dragons style.
